This policy explains what data the Macrobio mobile game and website (“Macrobio”, “the game”, “we”) collect, why, and what choices you have. It covers the app published on Google Play and the browser version at macrobio.io.

We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or microphone or camera data.
You can play the entire game without an account. If you tap “Continue with Google”, Google returns your account ID, email address, display name and profile picture to us through Firebase Authentication. We use this only to identify your account. You can sign out at any time in the profile screen.
Macrobio shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID and other device information to select and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted.
Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled entirely by Google — we do not receive, see or store your card number or billing address. Refunds follow Google Play’s policy.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Data is processed only by the service providers that make the game work:
We may also disclose data if required by law.
Game progress stays on your device until you delete the app or clear your browser data. If you signed in, your account record is kept until you ask us to delete it (see below). Ad and purchase data are retained by Google according to their own policies.
Delete local progress: uninstall the app, or clear the site data for macrobio.io in your browser.
Delete your account: email hello@macrobio.io from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete your account record within 30 days and confirm by email.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, use the contact address above. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Macrobio is not directed to children under [AGE — see note below], and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Our service providers are operated by Google and may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Google provides safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you in the app.
